The O2 arena can be changed from a concert venue into a world class sporting arena within hours and has arrogantly hosted chief events such as Turbo Tennis, NBA Basketball, NHL Ice Hockey, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In July 2007 Amir Khan was victorious in his World Championship bout against Willie Limond in the first sporting event at the O2 arena.
